I spent a good amount of time adding whatever interested me to my favorites list so I dont have to shift through everything. So whenever something new pops up on the front page Ill know not to miss it too.

Never had any of the premium channel subscriptions, did they take away the search function to make you see all the other content they have?

My annual plan just ran out and i didnt renew because I hate all the reality crap clogging up the main page.

Yeah you have to scroll through like 20 reality shows before you get to something that might be watchable.

They made the interface way worse too. Having to scroll all the way right through episodes just a dumb, unnecessary change

I don't understand why they made you download a whole new app instead of just updating the old app.

The baffling thing is they lost some HBO originals. Westworld is gone. HBO Max had an original reality competition about jewelry smithing, that's gone too.

I do that too. I use the app on my phone though, its a lot easier and quicker.

I like how it randomly restarts an episode if you back out of it at times or when it doesn't keep track of episode progress

If I didn't get grandfathered in by my atnt bundle I would have cancelled it already

HBO Max already had a slow and buggy app. The Max app is so much worse, which i didn't think possible. Even more slow, additional bugs (just refuses to keep track of certain shows now), and they removed features, like the shuffle feature.

No, but the genre tabs take some digging to find. Like if I wanted a comedy, I could go to movies > comedy and see what they had. Or if I wanted to watch a Batman movie, could go to the DC hub. An episode of Aqua teen hunger force, adult swim hub. Overall, a bigger pain in the assw if you are browsing for something to watch without a specific title in mind.

I miss having the networks more easily accessible. IDK why they got rid of that when they only added more networks.
