I'd been waiting for his next movie for decades ever since Snatch, but I didn't like this one at all.

It stars Matthew McCaughnhayey as a gangster running a... Marijuana empire in UK (is that a thing? A drug empire of pot?)

I didnt care for it. Colin Farrel is great in it and Hugh grant is somewhat funny as a sleazy reporter blackmailer if a bit generic. But otherwise I didn't care about any of the characters. I liked lock stock 2 smoking barrels and snatch more

I like it enough to rewatch it several times a year, although there's some lazy dialogue. Like when a teenager discovers some new slang and uses it as much as possible.

The lines at the end when Michael shows Matthew exactly how much he's gonna find out after fucking around is just .

I liked it well enough. A lot of people complained about 'casual racism' in the film, but it's not like any if the characters were supposed to be particularly good people.

Also I want to suck Charlie Hunnam dry.

Gentleman was great. Felt a bit let down by Operation Fortune though. Seemed a bit too straightforward without all the random storylines that come together in the end like I've come to expect.

Thats some heavy praise, could it really be good?

*googles* another mideast war movie like all the ones that plagued the mid 2000s box office? And Jake Gyllenhaal just like jarhead? (Not saying bad just that I got way tired of them by the end of the decade)

Now I'm very surprised and curious about this high praise, gonna see if its on streaming.
