Rune Factory series

Heroes started with Amnesia.

Tales of .... series

Heroes suddenly got attacked not too long before the game was just begin.

Persona series

they have own unique thing ie shot in head, mask, glasses, etc during exploration or using persona.

Pokemon Gold and Silver has you investigating a robbery right at the beginning of the game, then it jumps you directly into the gym badges adventure. Not too much downtime there.

Tales of berseria kind of gets you right in there. One minute you are hunting and putting some food on the table, the next all the villagers transform into werewolves and you put them down, your brother n' law just stabbed your little brother, tosses you into a pit, as you are falling you curse his name and promise you are coming for that ass soon, and now fast forward like a year or somethin' and you are in a prison. You then proceed to instigate a break-out.

Damn.
