A New York mother was charged Monday for hiring two strippers for her son's 16th birthday party, police said.

South Glens Falls police said 33-year-old Judy Viger faces five counts of child endangerment for hiring two women to perform lewd dances for five teens under the age of 17 at a bowling alley on Nov. 3, 2012.

The investigation began after people concerned about the party showed authorities racy photos posted online. Police said the dancers performed "personal and intimate" dances on the teenagers, CBS affiliate WRGB-TV reported.

A person who works at the company where Viger allegedly hired the strippers told WRGB-TV that the incident was "blown out of proportion" and that the dancers were unaware the teens were underage.

The 33-year-old Gansevoort mother charged with misdemeanor child endangering for paying strippers to perform lap dances at her son's 16th birthday party accepted a plea bargain Thursday that requires her to perform 50 hours of community service.

By taking the deal, Viger avoids the possibility of a year in jail if found guilty of child endangerment.

Viger was offered community service in return for dropping five counts of misdemeanor child endangerment if she stays out of trouble for six months.

Viger had little to say before Town Justice Timothy Alden. She quickly left the building with the people who had accompanied her.

10 years ago, I imagine CE was much younger, and their perspective as young men/teens (heck, I was 15 in 2013), would have been incredibly biased, lmao.

The son graduated Hartwick College with a degree in Sociology and Crimminal Justice this year

The mom is still alive and happily married. She works at a salon. No idea what shes up too

Depending on the country, this may have been totally legal. Back in the 90s, 16 was the (Age of Consent) for hiring escorts in some countries, even if the escorts themselves had to be 18.

My fam bought me a call girl, (and my first tat), on my 15th B-day. Strange way to find out I was gay, (but I kind of already knew anyway).
And NO, I'm not defending it, that shit was fucked up.
