Imagine a world where:

A: AI art is at a point where more of it exists and is produced than human art.

B: AI art is regulated

In both these cases, AI will have to pull from itself. With the rules it has set in place for producing art, it has to reconcile with its older self will degrade the output, what I mean is: the quality of its sources, itself, will degrade its output and because of the regulations it has with what it can output, tweaking the algorithm would cause a systemic collapse.

I got this idea from ChatGPT and Google and how despite having faster results, the quality has gone down, simply because the rules set in place hamper the algorithm.

>When AI can exactly copy an image, would its quality go down?
Yes, because it has to consider other original outputs, since AI doesn't learn the art the way a human does when it turns the copied image into static, the faults in that seemingly perfect copy will begin to pop up and be distorted by lower quality outputs.

>What about selfopportating AGI? LLM models of could-
ChatGPT's flaws, as stated above, would only further degrade AI arts capabilities. When it comes to other language models with different rules set in place, the quality will still fall because it is subject to bias or hallucinations, which won't go away. After all, anarchic AI needs a rule set, and that creates problems because of loopholes demonstrated by the simple jailbreaking of ChatGPT.

Are you taking the fact that AI can memorize into account?
Memories can be good or bad, the typical rationale is that AI will only that the good or positively received memories, but, who is the judge? Currently, it's those who generate the images, and in the future LLMs would, we discussed that LLMs are flawed in their outputs, so they'd be flawed in judgments as well, not to mention the subjectivity humans use.

This is just a theory to go against the hyped up expectations of AI.
