I love stuff like this, I'm reminded of Powerless, a show nobody else liked but I conceptually loved, and it may not have always been the funniest but it's definitely my brand of humor.

It's about all the "extras" and random civilian people in superhero comics namely DC's Batman and Superman type comics, and how they're affected when Superman goes around fighting villains in the big city, destroying property, increasing commute time, etc. Specifically starring Vanessa Hudgens as a girl who's starting work at either an insurance company for all these damages or a tech company like Acme that designs weapons and equipment for supervillains and superheroes, and all the wacky hijinks that entails. It had Abed from Community, it had the amazing and overlooked Alan Tudyk, it really had all the right pieces and if WB had given it a real budget and believing in it instead of shrugging it off and passing it to NBC, then it could have been a great sitcom.

Tatiana Maslany looking like a Victorian era steampunk jekyll/hyde has awoken something in me, it's too late to claim otherwise

The show is a decent sitcom that gets overhated because (1) it's in the MCU which doesn't do sitcoms and (2) incels.

One thing I found really dumb were the complaints about her telling Bruce she was better at controlling her anger. The entire reason Bruce's mutation results in the Hulk is because he's garbage at controlling his anger.

Despite that I have to ask, how is Tatiana Maslany still hot as a green hulk though.

Can't tell if CGI is good or awkward.

Having comics in the office is literally straight from the She Hulk comics like 20 years ago by Dan Slott.

Ok I enjoyed seeing more Wong but why doesn't he just take the mood ring from that 2nd rate magician? Sure it made for some hilarious moments in the episode, but the entire thing could have been easily avoided if he just took the ring so the magician couldn't summon any more portals or whatever. Heck are the people leaving kamar taj allowed to take the mystical equipment with them, especially if they're you know, kicked out? Seemed a bit arbitrary premise but I'll let it go because the 3 magicians including the lawyer doing magic in front of the judge definitely got a laugh out of me.

Why does the actress for Madisyyn with a y (but not where you think) look familiar though. She kinda looks like... elizabeth olsen's stunt double? Or drinking party double?

Hot people can have trouble dating too, AND she lives in LA, which is one of the most superficial places in the world.

I am kinda surprised with how many people here like it. I don't hate it as much as the rest of the internet, but I find it the second worst thing in the MCU (after What If?) There was some fun moments but a lot of the humor did not work for me.

That being said, I absolutely loved the episode with the supervillain support group

Are they going to explain who she is, what her deal is, why she has powers? Or just it's some super powered lady with an online fanbase and she sells gwenyth paltrow esque items?

Sure, she (or he) probably won't normally, but let's say the Dodgers lost the game or 49ers won the Superbowl?

Or everyone seems to be attacking everyone in Marvel.
How comfortable would it be knowing that you could get killed just because a villain decided to attack her (or her friends) while you guys were at the movies, or if you'll end up being the target because you'll be an easy hostage (or whatever)?

I thought the implication was she's anonymous as jen walters/an unknown and that's why she's not getting any matches and why she decided to make a profile as shehulk instead. Not that people are intimidated to be with her as jen

Which again, I get what they're doing to try to move the story along but in a world of magic this is the most unrealistic thing ever, in no universe is a woman on a dating site getting 0 matches, not even in a universe of only gay men would that ever happen. It's tatiana maslany for goodness sakes

It finally hit me what it is that was throwing me about Shehulk or as she prefers to be called Shulk. She basically looks like a Fiona Shrek.

I thought She-Hulk was a little uneven but had plenty of high points, honestly

The wedding events were kinda silly but the subplot with Mr Immortal was hilarious. Dude literally jumps from a window into traffic to avoid confrontation.

So what do we think of Nikki the paralegal?

Nikki's great, so is Pug. Great supporting cast and actual good friends for Jen.

I'm not loving this whole secret organization subplot with the stealing hulk blood needle in every shot. Why shehulk and not regular hulk. Unless it's because she's more public, prominent and easily accessible. The Rosses maybe? Is it going to tie into the spaceship that whisked Hulk away?

Pug quickly fit in with their dynamic. I was confused at first because (besides the weird name) when they first introduced him he gave them a map to the best office bathroom for pooping and I was like "um ew tmi too soon inappropriate dude" and thought the episode was showing he's the new bad dude like jen's former sexist coworker at the DA but then the girls were like "thank you" and I couldn't tell if it was sarcastic but now I'm thinking it was sincere and there must be something I'm missing where someone showing you the best bathroom to poop in on the first day of work is normal? I mean I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that it's a unisex bathroom situation or something, not that he's been staking out the women's restrooms or whatever.

Yeah I loved the entire cast. Blonsky was fantastic there.

It wasn't bad, the CGI is mostly bad though, Hulk looks fine compared to the rest of the CGI.

I only watched really because of Matt Murdock showing up,Daredevil being teased and finally seeing Daredevil .

I liked it for the most part and it definitely doesn't deserve the hate gets.

The issue with the xgi boils down to trying to render normal clothing. When Jenn is wearing her superhero suits it's fine because it's spandex. So it's form fitting and the animators can basically draw it like skin. With her work clothes, it's hard for the cgi to properly mimic how real cloth moves.

I think it's also the lack of texture. Hulk looks more real because they add in beard stubble and wrinkles. A big thing for She-Hulk is that she's superhumanly gorgeous, so beard stubble and wrinkles don't really fly.

Like, I can't see being a hulk helping out on the lawyer side of things.

I mean... that's the point of the show. Jen only wants to be recognized for her skill as a lawyer, but had Hulkism thrust upon her and is now expected to be a superhero and/or publicity stunt for her law firm.

Ok there's no way that guy who literally tried to attack shehulk and steal her blood is for real. If he's really changed why the fuck is he not telling shehulk there's a plot to steal her blood and... do stuff to her in some way. Either he's lying or... there's no or. Why aren't you warning her about the rest of your crew who are still out there?

This is peevin' me off. Either he needs to be charged by the police and pay for his actions, or at the very least prove useful in apprehending the others. Taking no responsibility for his actions besides a useless nothing "sorry bro" does not cut it.

Madisyn dropping that massive Sopranos spoiler to Wong was pretty funny. Watchers beware!

Oh that must be what it is. In her big suit something seems off, like the suit is perfectly still while the rest of her body moves or I don't know how to describe it.

They've also had like a decade to work on and refine Hulk's CGI so that's probably a major factor as well.

Heh yeah. Honestly it's kind of a dick move irl to drop spoilers for different show or movie for the purpose of a quick cheap laugh. They should actually do it how It's Always Sunny handled it. If I had any interest in the sopranos I'd be upset.

Yeah good point. It's interesting they went in the direction of "everyone finds she-hulk hot and wants to bang her/be her" for the show, not the pitchforks and shovels approach

I believe that's just how it is in the comics. I remember people saying that Jen just lives most of her life as She-Hulk because she's just a stronger, hotter version of herself.
