I hope we get a honest win against her in the remake at least.

I mean it makes sense the party would have so much trouble against her becuase unlike most other protagonist these are just a random group of misfits mostly and nothing that special lore wise. But scripted losses are BS.

Defeating her would undermine the idea that she's unstoppable.

But it's kinda weird that after she turns good she kinda doesn't do anything. Sure she led the airship fleet to help you at the end but that doesn't really take advantage of her butt kickin' talents.

If they were to have you defeat Beatrix in a remake, I'd make it a new optional Superboss at the end of the game and have it be really hard.

Honestly I hope we don't win against her in the remake, considering they saw an Eidolon destroy an entire city in moments and they were basically like "Yeah that's cool, but we have Beatrix so do we need that?"

Spoilered just to be safe. At any point where we fight her the party story wise didn't t really have anything that can measure up to that kind of comparison.

There's no point to it if she's just going to sit on the sidelines again. And if she joins the party she's going to be nerfed anyways so it doeasnt matter there either.

Her being that strong doesn't make very much sense lore wise. Especially considering what Kuja needed to surpass that.

Regardless that was a unsurd amount of want for a temporary and minor villain at best.

They really need to make her a permanent member in a remake

Theres so much stupid shit going on in IX, but its still an awesome game. The cast carries it, no doubt.

Beatrix is too overpowered. She has the strength of Steiner and the white magic of Garnet.

She has neither of those. Save the queen is just ana amazing weapon. Steiner hits harder than her overall.

Spells she does have full life, Esuna and holy which is pretty solid. Cura would be menu healing at best.

If they made a remake, I'd like for you to have a segment where you play as Beatrix, Steiner and Freya in Alexandria. I don't care if they "failed" or whatever, there's no reason to have Freya and Steiner to disappear for the rest of disc 2 after that point. At least Steiner has the part to get some abilities when he's with Beatrix. Poor Freya can't be used again until disc 3.

Scenario wise, there's a lot that could be tweaked and fixed. It'd also be nice if in the remake when you had more than just 4 members you could switch Zidane out in areas that weren't the final dungeon.

Why is it that her thunder blade move looks/sounds cool, but it sucks when you get it? I've never seen it hit when I use it.

Shock is a big 'f that character in particular' kinda move
