I used to just have them all in a shoebox and the rares in a small folder. Last weekend I got a much bigger folder and spent some time organizing and putting them all in.

I actually didn't have quite as many as I thought I did; around 600 including duplicates but excluding basic energy. I was in middle school and also pretty poor back then so couldn't collect too much. And I really wasn't into Pokemon cards for very long, especially compared to Yu-Gi-Oh cards afterward (I'm not looking forward to organizing all those).

make sure you get sleeves if you ever plan on handling them outside of a folder at all, you can get hundreds of them pretty cheap

I found 3 on the street can you tell me if they are worth anything?

I just went through my folder as well. I gave a bunch of my holographic cards to my niece and nephew because they collect them now.

Dont think they were worth much, though there was definitely a holographic Charizard, Alakazam, Nidoking, Chansey, cant remember the rest

I could swear I have an Ancient Mew and/or a regular one, but I couldn't find them. Maybe I traded them off.

That 1st edition Magneton is German.

I would for sure take out and sleeve: The Venusaurs, the Blastoises, the Charizards, the birthday Pikachu, all the Gengars, and the rest of your holos. Depending on conditions, you could have quite a bit of change there. At least $500.

Every one of the holos are in sleeves. Many of them aren't in great condition though; among the starters only one Blastoise is good.
