This one I'm not too sure on. I think Rise is a very fun character with a ton of great moments, but I adore Ann's development during the Kamoshida arc.

support characters like Rise are always OP, but Ann was also OP

Rise, her arc is just perfectly made for an arcana based around interpersonal connections.

Yukari's kinda a bitch but she's definitely one loyal bitch to the ones she loves
Rise gets to act as slutty and as flirty as she wants but she's definitely only for her silver haired senpai even if he goes balls deep in another woman
As far as Ann goes, she's so so, I still think they came up with her friend rather than have it happen to her because of the "used goods" label

Personally, I wish we'd get a male representative of the Lovers Arcana for once.

Oh so much. saying ridiculous things like this is a sign of psychois of course. A non scatter brained response should have been

Yukari is a very loyal and clingy to those she loves
Rise may be a flirt and perhaps come off as pious but she's very genuine and honest to the ones she loves
Ann may not have the troubled past of the former and the natural flirtatiousness of the former but she remains just as genuine and loyal as they do.

Still not very good but more "sane" as to be expected of a non wrong infected person.

I kind of like Ann the most. She has a great design and she's pretty fun.

My only real issue with Ann is she doesn't get any growth until Strikers after Kamoshida, and it isn't particularly crazy growth. I love her, and her VA, but she really doesn't feel like she evolves as a character past Kamoshida.

Meanwhile Rise has a bit of an arc herself even past 4G into Arena and Dancing...even if Dancing's Rise has a slightly worse VA.

I think it's more that Ann is older and doesn't need to have an "arc" so much.

I'll admit between Ryuji and Ann that we definitely getting a broader range of info about him, but not everyone needs a gigantic character arc.

Ann is a wonderful character. I like the others too, but Ann is such a goofy sweetheart.

Rise. I'm almost always going to side with a character from 4 over their counterpart in 3 or 5.

Haven't played 2 though.

Honestly, kinda same. P4 cast is excellent.

Hot take: Lovers is the best arcana character-wise. Yukari wins for me though.
