I don't think any of our votes are serious at this stage, but just to generate discussion, I think your initial vote on Lea makes the least sense out of all the feckless votes tossed out thus far. What was your thought process there?

Anyways that is kirby's first serious post. So lets just perma townpile Lea.

Reading more kirby see if there is anything else that sticks.

I voted SBell as a joke and fully intended to unvote him as soon as he got close to being hammered. I didn't really see the arguments against him. If anything, Peaf seemed extremely aggressive and defensive. Then again, everyone just seemed really pissed off at each other from what I read during my catch-up.

Lean town on Wallz. I've observed him over the past couple of games, and he seems like he's in his town persona. Everyone else I don't have much of a read on, least of all Death. Though if Death is town, Ulti most certainly has to be.

This post makes me feel like there is probably exactly 1 scum between Peaf and Wallz barring triple scum gambit. But I don't buy triple scum gambit without a counterprotection claim over death. So I'm discounting that for now. Ulti and death feel tacked on for content. Too much effort on wallz and peaf in comparison. Would be shocked if both are town. Don't think much of him including sbell, though it pushes slightly in the town direction but nothing concrete in my brain.

I've got a long day today but will be back later this evening. we end tonight right? this day feels like it's been going forever and literally nothings happened.

I'd almost argue we should no lynch but that's based mostly on just not having a good read right now.

On the bright side, if I get mislynched Ill be back here and I can tell ulti how historically terrible he is at mafia just kidding. Seriously though it would be nice to give my reads while confirmed town, so Im not the most damaging mislynch. Still would prefer to see someone I dont know is town lynched though.

and Ulti, why is red what convinced you to vote me? Unless I missed something, Lea is the one who has presented reasoning. Even though shes wrong its at least logical. Red just said Im obviously scum but didnt say why, right? I find that a little weird.

To recap, as I told Lea, I looked at death and Kirbys play and nothing stood out to me as scummy about their play. Maybe I chose my words poorly but my logic checks out. I cant show my work as Lea said because its the absence of scummy (to me) content that made me say they were town.

Honestly it's real difficult to "show your work" when we have less content on a day 2 than we normally have halfway through a day 1. Scum is probably just in full defeatist mode and lying low already, which I find nutty since I've *been* scum prostitute before and it didn't feel all that strong to me (although that could be because I was caught on night 1 by my target.)

My scumteam in Smash spent almost the entire game "laying low" and letting town murder itself. I've seen plenty of games where town gets overconfident after a successful lynch. Like I hosted one Psych mafia where town lynched scum early on day 1, then almost immediately lynched their unclaimed cop on day 2. If a bad day 1 is enough to break a scumteam, that must be one pillowy soft scumteam.

Immediate gut read is this is town Isquen being naive.

I actually had the role Wall is claiming in Elden Ring (a game in which Sultan played in), though I really don't understand why he claimed. It's not a role I particularly see Wall fakeclaiming, but he did claim it as a time that feels like it was convenient and unnecessary.

I'm combing over topic 2 a couple of times at the moment. Next meta read in the meantime before I have lunch: I feel like Ulti is more likely to use aggressively use a power like gladiator early as town. Ulti as scum would use it more tactfully, and try to make himself look the best he can with it.

Scum Ulti gladiating two scum and claiming he's confirmed town like he has isn't out of the realm of possibility at all, but I don't think he does this on day 1. When Ulti goes one-man-army mode, it's usually because he thinks he has to, or because his team has agreed to let him. There's no reason either should've occurred on the first day of the game.

Based solely on my experience with his play, I would say it's more likely than not he is town, though in a final 3 I would kill it very very fast.

I hadn't read pretty much anything, but I've been focusing on topic 2. With how limited my time today is, my focus is on townhunting and marking players I don't want to lynch unless something really jumps out at me as bad.

I don't like the way you claimed, but I don't think it's a claim you fake either. There is precedent for the existence of the role you claimed, and Sultan would be in a position to know it.

If I have one comment to make about SBell's day 2: It's what the content is focusing on.

The vast majority of his posts are continuing discussion on Kirby, or metaing the night actions. There's some rather aggressive buddying up towards Ulti, but SBell has yet to provide us with any serious insights or any real direction in where to go today. I would argue I have already contributed more to day 2 than he has.

...Ok, like usual, Red hasn't done enough to give me any sort of good read on him.

Oh and in doing that I found and re-read Lea's vote on SBell and I like the reasoning. SBell has done a lot of deflecting and little pursuing today.

I find Lea/Sbell to be an interesting potential scum pair. She unvoted sbell to drop her vote on me again which ok, I get it, vote me if you think Im scum, town votes for town sometimes in this game. But if you go back and look at Leas posts, d1 she complains about how she thinks Sbell got let off the hook by Ulti using his gladiator role, she includes him among scum in her list giving reads on literally everyone, and she talks about how tonally weird hes been etc. etc.

Lea asks me questions, reviews my game so far, thats all fine, but doesnt directly address sbell or question him about her concerns a single time. I dont have a problem with Lea questioning me, or even voting for me, but what did Sbell do to make her move her vote on one of her other strongest scum reads back to me? Hes done nothing today (irl) other than talk about how town ulti is and joke that he hasnt posted.

Lea, youre probably drunk already but feel free to answer any time. Ideally d2 but if its d3 thats ok too. Ill be around, even if I get lynched =)

Lea next: Lea is playing how I've come to expect her to play at this post. Low post content, but when she posts, they're biting. Anyone once again trying to shade her for low energy or low posting or whatever either hasn't learned or is scum trying to pick her off - She's played like this in multiple recent games. Based on what I've seen in topic 2, I have no problems with Lea at the moment and would not consider lynching her.

What I will say though, is if this splits SBell scum/Wall town, I'm not high on that recent vote switch, when SBell was in the lead with all of two votes.

I would literally agree to be lynched today if everyone agrees to lynch sbell tomorrow when I flip town.
