The urgent care from hell. Tried to pay it online, their online portal was down, paid it over the phone. Have the credit statement and the transaction ID proving I paid it.

Can I just call up the urgentcare billing and tell them to fix their shit, or do I have to go through collections now to deal with this garbage?

Also, what's the best way to deal any sort of punitive damage to these fucks for pulling this shit?

Once theyve sent it to collections the urgent care wiped their hands of it. Collections wont believe you really paid it and will fight you on it because theyre on the hook for it regardless.
