the worst thing about biden being his age says it all. no one is perfect but biden has been good domestically and phenomenal with foreign policy. if every potus was as competent as biden we would be doing much better as a nation.

I do it because progressive media seems to be the only ones realizing that she's going to be the one Republicans are have in all their ads after the primaries attacking Biden's age and telling the public who don't like Harris that if Biden wins they're effectively voting for her as president, it's a pretty effective tactic that Democrats don't seem to have an answer for.

Trump and Biden are 4 years apart. When its very old versus very old criminal, theres nothing you can do about the very old part.

He picked her because he outright promised to pick a woman, he could not go back on that. The other option was Gabbard, you could write a separate essay on why that would have been bad. She also balances the ticket. She's black, she's young. He's also extremely, disgustingly pro police, and worried that the "defund the police" movement will drive people away from him, so picking a cop really made that point. She was his most outspoken critic, so bringing her into his campaign stops her from opposing him.

As far as her being a bad VP, that's not all her fault. She and Biden don't get along, he never really wanted her as part of his team. A VPs actual job is managing the administration itself, behind the scenes keeping the cabinet on the same page. But the "real VP" is Blinken. That's Biden's guy, the one he really wanted. So he's Secretary of State, doing Kamala's actual work, and her hands are tied and kept out of it. At least with the senate so evenly split she can do a little something in her position as the president of the senate.

That being said, yeah she does suck. She's top cop, and everything you'd expect from that is true. But if Biden dies, she'd finished out the term completing his work, she's not stupid enough to overhaul everything in the middle of a very difficult term. And the GoP is still only running the worst of the worst, so it doesn't matter how bad she is, she'll pull every vote Biden will.
