I got myself a skink the other day. You know, those little lizards that look like snakes with legs. Well, mine is more like a snake without legs, because he never comes out of his hiding spot. Hes so shy, I barely see him. The only time he showed himself was when I first brought him home. He was all over me, climbing on my shoulder, licking my ear. I thought we had a connection. But then he went back to his burrow and never looked back. Hes probably digging a tunnel to escape.

Maybe I should have gotten a tegu instead. Theyre like giant lizards that act like dogs..well mean dogs. They also have huge teeth and claws, and can rip your face off if they want to. But hey, at least they would keep me company. And I would always have the thrill of wondering if today is the day they decide to eat me alive, of if they will just wait to die. Since I live a lone that well just be like oh well. He's gone time to eat.
