Yep, that's a purchase all right. Been thinking about building my own witch / alchemist hut to sit next to the Blacksmith's Hut on my shelf, and this'll be just about perfect.

Only downside is no Billy the Zombie.

She is super into Hocus Pocus and the general "Witch Cottage" aesthetic. Though it's expensive enough that I'm not going to actually buy it without finding out if she actually wants it.

First, what is it with these "board closure" references? Was there some cataclysmic event I'm not aware of? What board are you referring to? I post almost exclusively on the PS5 board, sometimes on the Switch or Series X boards. Sometimes on individual game boards. All of these boards are open as far as I am aware.

Second, Hocus Pocus is a movie from the 90s with a ~30% rating on rotten tomatoes, and it's sequel from a year ago achieved the mighty achievement of a 6/10 on IMDB and rotten tomatoes. It's not relevant by any reasonable standard.

Ironically, my Teen Wolf example which was meant to be in jest actually has much higher ratings than Hocus Pocus, yet you didn't seem to bat an eye at the suggestion that a Teen Wolf notebook at target would be irrelevant.

As far as Legos are concerned, these are obviously children's toys, and this is a board that isn't permitted for children under 12, which would be the primary demographic of lego. Sure, there are adults that play with legos, but there are also adults that watch My Little Pony, there are adults that sexualize animals. That doesn't make any of it normal or appropriate for a "current events" board on a video game forum.

This is the saddest doubling down I've seen on this site in a good long while.

It looks like it's got the bones of a really great medieval witch hut, which is factoring heavily into my desire to buy it. I'll bet with a few little alterations it'll fit right in with the more nonspecific Castle sets.

On that front I'm still waiting for them to (hopefully) announce the rumored medieval village set to compliment the Lion Knight's Castle.

Fuck you Lego. Im trying so hard not to buy any new sets.

I love hocus pocus and I'll definitely buy this but they definitely don't need to make Hocus Pocus 3...and honestly 2 shouldn't have happened either.
