I think people are treated better when they have a beard, in general

I'm about 50x more attractive with a beard. So yes.

Not really now. Unfortunately I get a bit of a scraggly effect.

It's kind of a mixed bag. Dating wise, I'm attractive to people who like beards, so there's that I guess. On the other side of things, I'm a middle-aged Midwest white guy who wears t-shirts and jeans, so I feel like a lot of people get the wrong first impression of the kind of guy I am, unless I'm wearing a shirt with some indication of political/social leaning.

I get treated nicely by other "beard bros" who seem to think we're in some exclusive, manly society because we can grow hair on our faces, and those people are usually annoying. When my beard was really long I'd catch guys basically ogling my beard. While it was kind of funny to me in a sad way, it felt like I was getting just the smallest taste of what women have to deal with all the damn time.

I shave about every 2-3 weeks after my beard gets too annoying to deal with. I don't trim because I don't want to deal with doing that everyday.

I don't notice any difference how I am treated based on if I have a beard or not.

I dont know if Im treated differently but I definitely prefer to have facial hair. Looking older is a good thing, and looking creepy has its perks too.

I've never noticed a difference.

There's no difference because most people don't care. Unless you're in the top level of attraction with facial hair, no one cares. You can't measure how people "treat you" because a lot of this is based on other factors. Confidence, Being direct, Acting polite, whether the other person is in a good mood/bad mood. If you treat people with respect, they'll often match the same energy.

Facial hair doesn't really have a big impact for men , because men are judged more strongly on other things. Like status, money, ambition, and how they act.

Not really. Men are judged on a series of factors(Height, Face, Personality, Ambition, Social Status, Occupation, etc). A guy might look more attractive with a beard, but beards don't have a big impact on the long run because other more important factors exist. A guy who is clean cut and average looking but has money and knows how to talk to people and hold a convo will do far better in the real world than some dude with a large beard who is socially awkward

Yes really.

I can't grow a good beard, so I don't really know. I only ever grew it out during the pandemic, and I wasn't really around any people.

Men don't get the luxury of relying on their looks to attract the opposite sex or to go anywhere in life. They need to have several things to be considered. Even good looking male stars with facial hair are exponentially better/seen as more valuable due to what value they provide to the world. Like being an actor

Chris hemsworth is good looking but he has great value because he starred in hit movies, which helped elevate him even more.

Nope, I haven't noticed a difference. But I've only been growing my beard for about a year
