I don't give a shit about flag decorum and nobody else should in a casual situation, but it's just insane to me that he's so stupid that he thinks it's obscure nonsense that people are morons for digging up. Literally everyone knows that flag decorum exists and him basically shitting on people criticizing his 4th of July decoration because none of it matters is pretty fucking ridiculous to listen to. He just wants easy wins. Even Diamond 1-2* is full of a bunch of gimmick players and bone heads, and at Diamond 1 you can still play Plat 5, and Plat 5 players aren't particularly good either. But Phil is a complete scrub in any Street Fighter that isn't Super Turbo, because he can't use dumb ass characters like ST Vega or ST Deejay or ST Akuma.

He's always been a contrarian. He doesn't want like DSP but, defends him because he doesn't like being proven wrong. I doubt DSP even remotely cares about him. He mods a dead forum. He isn't one of his dent head whales.

I think the thing I find most obnoxious about modern day Phil is his insistence that if two humans on the planet have knowledge of the same thing, as it relates to him, and have different opinions on it he acts like the world is falling down, consensus is impossible, there's nothing he can do correct, etc.

(Some) Peepul on his stream thought he shouldn't do side content in FF16 (because he's so boring these days that literally nothing apart from watching the main story unfold is interesting when he's playing RPGs). The way Diaphone dissected Phil's gameplay was very Teacher-esque. No bias, whatsoever. "Phil did this good; he could work on this a little more..." type of breakdown. No animosity, no trolling, etc. It was more than Piggy deserved, tbh. A LOT more.

Phil literally has nothing going for him, and on some level he realizes this. But by being the victim you can garner sympathy, and a common 'enemy' to rally against.

This is also why the simplest of things are mountains of challenges to him. You and I do groceries all the time and never mention it, because it is mundane, boring. But if you make it an insormountable task...

he's claiming a household with two people and a cat produce more compost than the city of Seattle takes away through its garbage service, so he has to throw it into the garbage disposal, which, as far as I'm aware, never actually seen one, is a slicing blade in the sink that is supposed to chop up food remains and a pipe that takes it away to wherever trash pipes go.
