Post at that forum and gain a reputation as an individual.

Not a sock puppet who speaks for a troll, most likely.

Your account is old. So it will be easier to be believable for you.

If you have a forum history on other forums that helps.

Also good is if you stay out of controversial topics. (Politics or board drama) As sock puppet trolls are attracted to those. As often a banned troll often goes right back to the scene of the crime, subject wise. They have a subject they want to manipulate.

This. I saw a dozen accounts created this year cheering the demise of 261 and half of them were very quickly banned/suspended/purg. Most dont even check karma unless you say something off the wall and then the low karma is a confirmation of suspicions.
