Bruno Mars is a talented guy, but nothing he puts out feels fresh to me. It's all stuff previous artists did better, with nothing that makes it his own - not in his music nor his performance. Clearly he has his fans, so good for him. To me he might as well be a cover act. --- The food here is terrible. Every modern pop songs like they are collage of what's popular, decided by survey or focus group and market research, then they manufacture easily digested music equivalent to a potato chips that the masses dig. But he eventually started making some really good modern pop music.
