This can be said about any semi-popular entertainment company that's not well liked.

maybe because the people buying their games actually like blizzard?

I don't, but understand others may be okay with the games they put out and buy them

I hate the execs, it's not the dev's fault...though I haven't bought a Blizzard game since Diablo 3 PS4 so...guess I don't buy their games, though I was considering getting Diablo 4

I think the average person probably isnt even aware of what the company has been involved in or care enough about battle passes or w/e. They'll see a commercial for such n such game, have interest in it, and then just buy it. Thats how it goes for many people i know who don't post on forums or go on reddit.

Yeah, that's honestly why I decided not to get it... playing the beta and rubber banding like crazy just reminded me that launch wouldn't be much better, and if my internet decided to be a pain, it could screw me over

Fun game, should've had offline.

The thing you have to remember is that 10,000 people complaining online is a negligible fraction of a percentage of a major game's playerbase.

The internet isn't real life, and those that complain on twitter and reddit are a tiny subset of the overall gamer base.

Honestly, most people probably don't know or care about the politics and actions of a video game despite what Twitter would have you believe.

For me? Their leaderships behavior is disgusting, but if we're being honest, a game not selling well isn't going to punish them. It's going to cause the lower end employees that did all the work to lose their jobs.

Most people I know interested in it aren't the types to scour around forums and Twitter all day listening to the latest Blizzard news. They just want a fun game where they kill shit with their friends that will last a long ass time.
