The Missions added for the anniversary (So complete 140, 150, etc. Rank Up/Interludes, Complete Olympus, Complete 5.5, Complete however many Free Quests) all reset and could be reclaimed for their SQ rewards again. People were getting like 50+ SQ lol.

I apparently got (and subsequently lost) 30 SQ from this. I honestly wasn't paying close enough attention and just assumed it was a bug the other way, where it didn't give me credit for those missions right away. Oh well. Still, 7 free quartz and apples isn't bad.

Whew, now back up to having enough to pity Oberon via SQ/SQ Fragments. Did not want to dip into the ticket fund.

LB6 beated. Definitely my favorite story chapter.

Used CS Revive on the Lord of Fluff but I think I could have gotten there with my Fujino team with a few tweaks if I gave it a few more shots, but I wanted to keep reading LOL. Never needed the blue cubes.

Almost got omega trolled by Oberon by experiencing the power of NP Looping from the other side. Took an NP that I was prepared for and had Castoria's NP up to block on the final bar. Team was left sleeping but once Abby woke up she could probably end things. Instead, double use of the 2-bar charge so he could NP again on his next action and the frontline blew up.

However, then the true savior of Britain stepped up. "The ballad of the silent Alter. At the end of the journey, you'll learn to laugh, while I learn to cry." LOL ending the fight on that NP line. Look, he could have lost with his dignity intact by letting my frontline beat him because Super Castoria, Reines, and an Eldritch god in Abby beating you - there's no shame in that. Instead he went down dancing to an idol's music. That's on him. He chose that ending.

It's fitting. Dude was all about having a glorious finale on the final stage.

This is one of the best chapters of any game I've played, and it rivals some of the best stuff I've read. It's not up there with classic literature or anything, but god damn, I could not put it down until the very end.

I see why that fucker is one of the most popular characters in the franchise now over in Japan. He's wildly different from FF14's Emet-Selch, but they share a very similar vibe.

Yeah, the entire LB6 cast was excellent. Castoria was my favorite I think. Her journey really hit me. And Oberon was A++ in the end.

Of the "main" characters I'd say Baobhan Sith was probably the most undercooked. I feel like the revelations that came at the end either needed to come earlier (or she needed a few more scenes after.) And Aurora is an absolute monster.

Shoutouts to my guy Mike though. He was a precious cinnamon roll from the start and stayed that way until the end.

I came to love all of the Tam Lin, though as you said, Baobhan was weaker than the rest. We needed to see the kindness underneath the wickedness Morgan (and later, Beryl) taught her. Barghest deserved so much better - she was the only true knight in that entire cursed land.

I feel like it's 99% confirmed that MC is Oberon's Titania. I'm so glad I saved for that cheeky fucker. He's going to be pissed I grab him, and I don't care.

and then it hits you again with the Lostbelt Clear CE with her, Gareth, and Cnoc when the flavor ends with saying this "what if" surely would have been one of her spring memories, if only.

His summon dialogue post-LB6 is absolutely hilarious.

Got him in 10 Tickets and 210 SQ so I consider this mission success.

Especially since of the 4 SRs on rate-up I had only the Fairy Knights (from Morgan's banner.) Tristan came early and then on the Oberon roll it went Oberon, Gold Saber - "If this is Gawain this is amazing" - NP2 Barghest -"Ah well". Another Gold Saber?!? Gawain.

Ok back to back pity.

Gonna take me a few days to mentally recover from that.

Was planning on only doing about 150 SQ for Oberon but right near the end of that I got spooked by Altera who I JUST had used the 5 star ticket on earlier this month for collection purposes. Doesnt spook me for YEARS and then shes the first spook I get after the ticket. I was so mad I rage rolled the rest of my SQ I had other plans for. :(
I did at least get Oberon and Gawain (and like 7 Tristans and 2 Barghest) though.

Still mad.

Damn. I was deliberately saving my 5-star ticket until after my Oberon rolls in case I got spooked, but I never would have done so if someone hadn't alerted me to the idea beforehand.

As an upside, A) Altera gets good next year and B) NP2 on an AoE DPS is often necessary for them to excel. I know it was just for collection, but now you have a good alternative Seiba farmer!

And you also have Oberon, which, pretty big get for gameplay.

hit pity on Koyanskaya. mercifully oberon was only 330 sq and 10 tickets

I threw 20 more tix at the banner just to get some of the storylocked 4-stars, ended up with one copy each of OG Gawain and OG Tristan. Still missing Barghest (my favorite of the 4), but she's on plenty of future banners.

I waited to pick my 5* because there was actually a Li banner and I wanted Medb, too. I threw a few pulls at him, couldn't afford too much with Oberon looming and just ended up picking him instead. What sealed it is that I noticed the next Medb banner has a decent ignore invicible CE in the gacha and I never MLBed the Sashi one. Then ended up getting Oberon in 61 quartz but Barg still only NP2. I don't care too much about Morgan but I'd much rather have her than Britomart or NP3 Castoria so that's where my Barg rolls go I guess. It's asinine she won't get a single solo rate-up for 2+ years for us.

As is customary every year, I came back for the summer and had insane luck. Last year was 2 Castorias in 20 pulls, this year it's Melusine, Koyanskaya, and Oberon all within a combined 90 pulls.

Morgan banner 5 days after Oberon's? Not sure I get the logic, but oh well. Got her eventually at least.

Ran out of SQ and got no Oberon. :"(
Finished the Free Quest Master Quest with Heian-Kyo to farm another 30 and still no cigar.

Damn, sorry to hear that Raka. Hopefully they do a surprise banner like they did for Arjuna Alter so we aren't waiting another 18 months.

I went hard for Morgan and got her for NP3. Should have enough for Melusine pity this winter too.
