I'll admit, I was a doubter, but it's him!

The action was a little hard to follow at the beginning, hope Araki doesn't lose steam again. But the dialogue scenes were fantastic. More mangaka could really learn from Araki - if you're going to have a lot of dialogue, make the visuals interesting, show off the background from time to time, and have the characters move while talking.

Yeah the only thing I dislike about reading Jojo manga's is that sometimes the action scenes are hard to follow. Which is why I'm so glad the anime adaptations can at least give me some clarity on what Araki is trying to show.

But honestly, 4 chapters in and I love the characters so far. They got a lot of personality and are pretty damn funny. Their powers are also really unique with a lot of utility. I just hope it doesn't devolve into a typical battle manga and stick with the heist-esque setting they got (I doubt that very much).

Basically, he's made of play dough and can reshape his body like the Pillarmen did. Though I think it's muscle based so he probably can't fold his bones or anything like that.

As for the fight choreography, Araki frequently goes out of his way to obscure details of the fight. Reading Sandman's fight in Part 7 and its pretty subtle how and when Johnny drops his hand towel, but once you know how the fight works and what's going on you can go back through it and it becomes pretty clear.

That's one issue I've had with Togashis Hunter X Hunter. The guy likes to write novels while his artwork changes from good to god awful, all on the same page. There's one that I always go back to of a festival. Really crappy art on the festival panels, but then they zoom in on a roast chicken or turkey that looks like it could be real.

I won't be reading the spoilers as I just finished Part 5 of Jojo, haven't started Part 6 yet.

Super fine motor control. Basically vibrating them back and forth so that the scissor blade has a sawing action. Some real animals can do similar stuff like some cephalopods have muscles that can adjust the texture of their skin for camoflouge. Wouldn't be surprised if Paco makes himself look like a shrub at some point.

Those panels are corrected in the Tankoban releases. Weekly pages is hard work and he wrecked himself on YYH, and also rarely works with assistants because he has trust issues.
