Literally the people making laws that dictate how we live are held to much lower moral and ethical standards than people who simply entertain us.

That's because entertainers actually rely on us to make a living, so when they piss off the public it has a real effect on their daily lives

Yeah but it's easier to fire an actor or director than it is to fire what's basically a sitting vote on legislation in a slim majority. At least if you're a republican it's difficult apparently.

That said, I have no idea what's going on with Ezra Miller and the flash movie, apparently "they apologized and they are committed to getting better moving forward". Movie seems to have screened well regardless.
