Been taking it for just over 2 months now and not really seeing much marked improvement.

Anyone here have any experience with it?

I took it for a year and sadly had no improvement. Apparently 90% of dudes do see benefit from it though.

I've been using it for over a year and it seems like a pretty significant improvement.

been taking finasteride for 2 years. haven't seen regrowth but normally finasteride is meant for maintenance, not regrowth. i'm happy i haven't lost any ground since taking it.

It work for me

Lowered my libido a bit and I think my hair thicker now. Tbh I wasn't even sure if I was going bald I think my new haircut barber just cut it in a way to make it look a bit thinner. Think its called layering instead of cutting to same length. My hairline hasn't receded or anything

But better safe than sorry imo I'm kind of a fan of lowered libido effect it has helped calm me down

Works great for me for hair maintenance. Significantly slowed hair loss, and my hair grows much faster. According to my hair stylist, my hair grows twice as fast as the average person (based on time between cuts and inches grown). So it's great for keeping the hair you do have.

I've been taking it for three years and have experienced no side effects whatsoever.

I haven't suffered any side effects yet, so hopefully that remains the case.

Sounds like I just gotta keep with it to start seeing results. Two months isn't that long it sounds.

It's not a miracle potion if you have hair like George Costanza it's probably not going to help

Seems like hair transplant would be another good option

I 100% recommend this. Did it for my receding hairline. Best investment I've ever made.

My hair's more like Bradley Cooper but not as thick. Or at least it was before it started to thin on top this last year, but i don't think it's super noticeable yet. If it was like DeVito I'd just shave ot all lol

Very effective at preventing further loss in androgenic alopecia, and I think the figure is that two thirds of users will have grown a significant amount of new hair following one to two years of use. I've been on finasteride for a little over a year and a half. My hairline hasn't receded any further, and the thinning that led me to treatment is much better.

I think the risk of side effects, and stories about them, tend to be overblown, but if you have issues, pyrilutamide is a promising treatment to deal with DHT by a different mechanism of action and it may be a year or two out. I'll look into stacking it with finasteride when it becomes available.

I've just hopped on topical minoxidil in the last couple of weeks with the hope that it will promote regrowth along my hairline and temples. I'll give it a year or two. edit: Actually, I'll be on it for life, because by that point some of my hair will be dependent on minoxidil. I just mean I'll give it a year or two before I decide whether I want to get even more aggressive with my treatment.

re: transplants, keep in mind they aren't an alternative. Most doctors will refuse to perform the procedure if you aren't already blocking DHT.

For reference, mine cost $6k to cover my receding hairline. They do offer care credit to pay it off in installments, and with care credit you usually get the first 1-3 years interest-free depending on what specials they have going on. The nice part about it is that the hair transplanted is guaranteed to live for life, so no worries about having to lose it again.

In my case they didn't even ask. They just recommended Finasteride to keep my non-transplanted hair healthy.
