If they get it right there's no guarantee it will sell as well as their other IP. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] I don't think the FGC is all that big of an audience these days. Street Fighter V and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite didn't do particularly well. Their lesser stuff have an even greater uphill battle. Dragon Ball is a popular and known IP. The sales potential is there by default. That's not the same for a Capcom fighting game. At least not compared to a Street Fighter anyway (and of course Capcom would also have to worry about cannibalizing their own sales too). They're not in the era of pumping out fighting games to sell to arcades anymore.
