Should I buy this?

They are on sale at Target right now. They come
in various colors.

Are they any good?

I have an old school one and they're pretty nice. Just make sure you get a couple of reusable filter cups so you don't fuck up the environment using the single use ones.

The coffee from those things tastes so weak and the cost from the pods add up. I could only see myself buying one if I was an occasional coffee drinker.

For the same price as the pods, I buy coffee locally that's fresh roasted and grind it myself.

I have one of these.

It does almost everything and you can make a single cup or an entire pot.

I'd rather spend money on quality coffee over convenience.

If TC does end up getting a Keurig, the reusable pods you can fill with your own coffee are the way to go.

This. You won't be getting good coffee out of it, but if you're coming from Folgers or something, I guess it'd be an upgrade. Keurig is about convenience, not taste, and all too often at the expense of the environment.

I've had 2 Keurigs over 10 years now, they hold up. I'd probably waste a lot if I made it by the pot.

I'm not a serious coffee drinker per the standards here, I guess. I drink on average a cup a day.(8oz)

I also bought one and it also stopped working in less than a month. I opted to get a slightly bigger one and have been happy, but I can't find out the name of it.

I took the time to find out, it's a Keurig K-Compact. Still works after 2 years. So please don't get Mini Keurig, just get a slightly bigger one. The vacuum on the k mini sucks ass.

There's something about the K Mini only being for one cup specifically that fucks it up so much. I would push the button, it'd take the water and never pour it no matter how long I waited up till 10 minutes. Then I'd fill it up with water, push the button wait 10 minutes and nothing. Then I'd unplug it, fill it with water, plug it push the button and by that point it just shoots out three cups of water worth of bullshit or something. It was awful. From the start it was super finnicky and even as it refused to work it was super finnicky. I read the reviews and I was like PASHAW those people are stupid and can't read a manual to see how to make this machine work, and nope it just sucks ass. DON'T BUY IT.

I read the user manual several times before I returned it thinking it was me, but no it's the damn machine. Get the K-Compact. You won't regret it, at least it works intuitively and won't just refuse to work. Not ONCE have I had an error with the machine where as with the K Mini I CONSTANTLY had errors that I was troubleshooting. Not worth the hassle.

Just buy a Mr Coffee they have some that have a pot that's enough for just one cup if you want it
