Examples: Fairies, the Gilded Sword, the Bunny Hood, empty bottle, Nayru's Love, bomb-chu, the hookshot, the paraglider It's between the hookshot, Roc's Cape, and paraglider for me. I like things that let ride glide over gaps, it seems. The_Popo 05/09/23 9:29:20 PM #5:	2D games = Boomerang. Easy to use, stuns enemies, retrieves items, and it is very easy to use. You can throw it and still remain mobile as it does its thing. 3D games = Hookshot. The boomerang is much less useful in the 3D games, and the hookshot slides into its place nicely. Cast it, make a block that you can either chuck repeatedly at enemies or use for puzzle-solving (even bypassing a major section of a dungeon if you do things out of order), cast it again to make the block explode for damage. It's like the perfect 2D Zelda utility tool. Hookshot is great in 3D, but it only really felt magical in OoT; by Wind Waker it suffered a noticeable nerf to the amount of surfaces it could actually attach to (plus you only got the damn thing at the ass-end of the game).
