I agree. However, it should be clarified that such a position has nothing to do with self defense, and the act of shooting someone who is attacking you is not considered a punishment for the person being shot.

I support self defense not murder, if the person holds you at gun or knife point though they should not be given any quarter since they are threatening to do great bodily harm.

An unarmed thief only needs to be told to get the hell out and leave anything you picked up followed by a police report of what happened.

Shots do not need to be fired in many cases just telling the person to get out.

You can tell Riku put a lot of thought and possibly some fanfics into this.

I think this bill is stupid for the record.

The only reason for this bill to even exist is to give people a false sense of security, like a border wall. If a trans person is going to be a pervert by flashing their junk at anyone in the bathroom, they will rightfully get arrested/reported to the authorities just like everyone else will! Them being trans doesn't exempt them from crimes.
