Im playing it on Vida, and really liking it, but I seem to just be flying through every single encounter

I had it on hard for like three bottles in the very beginning of the game, but those starting mobs were ridiculous in the intro, should I put it back on hard mode

From what I remember it's a pretty easy game in general and you more or less have to play on Hard if you want any challenge out of it

yeah play on hard, the beginning is a bit tricky on hard but after that it becomes a more standard hard mode. the post game fights are hard af on hard though.

Hard mode is just super annoying. Regular mobs are fine but the bosses are absolute sponges that take forever to kill.

The late game combat is terrible. There are only a handful of feasible mons to use, those with attacks that do piercing damage.

Isn't it inherent in JRPG design that players grind up to eventually pass the hard points? Just keep rushing through it, surely you'll arrive at the desired point since the game wants to be Persona Lite.
