Not on the kid. But I did see his mother's ID card somewhere on Twitter. I'm trying to find it again. As I understand it, the lady who got shot in the doorway at the start was the 8 year olds mom. Sonia Argentina Guzman. Her husband survived and a picture of his wife's ID was uploaded. To show she had Permanent Residency in the US.

I guess I just assumed the kid maybe could have been born in the US

I think that Zikten is likely to repeat something he read on Twitter without verifying the veracity of it. And the article that you posted doesnt back up what he said. I know this because I already read it while I was trying to find verification of his claim yesterday.

I'm not sure who you mean by "he" - Zikten or Abbot? This is what Abbot said:
Ive announced a $50K reward for info on the criminal who killed 5 illegal immigrants Friday

And this is what was incorrect:

"We regret if the information was incorrect and detracted from the important goal of finding and arresting the criminal," she said.

All in the article which was posted May 1s so would likely been in your search results yesterday (was in the top five of my Google results iirc)

That was what I was trying to find. What I had mentioned. I had seen that picture of the ID card. I was assuming a young kid was probably born in America. That's why I thought he was a citizen

I highly doubt the federal government is to blame for him saying that shit. He said it and people had a problem with it so now they are trying to save face by blaming the government for giving them the wrong info. He said what he said and he meant what he said. Either way it was wrong to just assume they were all illegal
