What is Game of the Month Club Replay?

Game of the Month Replay is a community project based upon the Game of the Month Club. Much like the GOTM Club, it's open to all B8ers where users share, discover, play and/or discuss a bonus chosen game every month. The two games featured each month are chosen by YOU the users (and Lady Luck).

The only catch is, it must be a game that the GOTM Club has already played, so it's an opportunity to replay games you may have missed out on the first time or just want to try again.

The Basics

- Each month will usually feature two games that were chosen via a random drawing from a pool of games that users nominated
- For each of the games you beat you get a cool point on our just-for-fun standings as well as a nomination for next month's randomized drawing
- In order to receive the point and nomination, you must beat said game within the calendar month
- If you beat one of the current month's games in the previous month, you can apply for a "recently beaten waiver," but you will only receive a point and no nomination should you do so
- Drawing for next month's game is usually on the 25th
- If you periodically keep us posted on your progress and/or talk about different aspects of the games, then everyone will think you are super awesome!

Nomination Rules

- You get one nomination automatically each month
- You receive additional nominations each month for beating one of the featured games
- Each game you nominate has to be one that was already nominated for the GOTM Club.
- You can nominate games that have already been selected for the Replay Topic, but not the same game twice in a row.
- Each game must be a standalone game that can be acquired and played on its own (aka cannot be DLC/expansion that requires the base game)
- Nominations only carry over if you beat a featured game after the drawing for next month's game but before the end of the month
- You have 9 supports you can use throughout the year. Your only limitations are that you can't support your own nomination, and you can only use one support per game per month

In to finally play Undertale this month.

Should be nothing for me this month. I've played Undertale and Yoku's in the past and wasn't super impressed by either one. And no real interest in a 30 hour long VN game.

Safety bump, probably nothing for me this month though :/

KCF has beaten Yoku's Island Express

So the first time I beat it, I found the post-game cleanup to be daunting and not worth attempting because the map couldn't zoom in enough to be overly helpful. I made sure to do more when going through it this second time.. What I had left required me to do some bad slug explosion jumping stuff, so I called it there at around 90% complete. I really think games like this and Dandara should scale back the collectibles due to how you navigate the world.

Anyway, my feelings for this are pretty much the same as they were before. It isn't quite what I was hoping for, but it was a fun, light-hearted adventure

Gonna start Undertale this week once I pull myself away from Zelda.

I've been playing House in Fata Morgana, but seeing as a VN is all plot it's hard to really describe it unless someone else is playing along because otherwise I'm just throwing full spoilers.

I can say there aren't many choices, so it's very heavy novel.

I have two ~14 hour flights though so that'll help chip away at it... and I guess I can start GAA1 now.

East Coast U.S. so technically it was after midnight :p

I've had it a few times where I'm rushing to beat a game by the end of the month, as long as I beat it before I go to bed I count it in my book lol. A bullet hell type game is a terrible game to play while tired.

Also I realize I never said in topic, but I did a Pacifist run.
