I mean he's fine I guess. But Desiree's better. I don't have a list of witnesses who didn't testify but there's gotta be more.

There aren't many characters who never testify (without being defendants or victims anyway). In the OT, I feel like it's Desiree, Lisa Basil, Penny Nichols, and Viola Cadaverini.

Oh, Regina Berry, too.

Out of those I'd definitely take Desiree and Viola over Eldoon.

Actually, now that you mention it, I don't think he does either.

Let me look at a list of characters and try to compile the list:

Well, I'm not including major characters (Mia never testifies, for instance), victims (obviously), or the rare defendant who doesn't testify (Max in 2-3, Matt Engarde in 2-4, Iris in 3-5, Bucky in 6-4)

I mean, technically the Judge's Brother never testifies but there's a reason for that. I figured this was just a discussion of minor characters, so I limited it to that.

I also didn't include GAA characters because I don't remember that game well enough to recall who never testified (which I guess would include everyone in G1-2, for instance). No Layton/AA characters either since that's a crossover and you have a zillion puzzle-giving avatars.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure every character with a sprite after AJ gives a testimony at least once.

Oh right, I guess Penny Nichols isn't even on that list anymore since she does give a testimony in AAI2.

There's one in AA5 (Aura Blackquill) and one in AA6 (Beh'leeb Inmee) but both are arguably slightly more than minor characters

Note how I never said Desiree is smart. But I wouldn't say she's stupid so much as she wanted to believe that her husband wouldn't lie to her to protect their marriage.

She'd do anything for him, too. And if that means she turns a blind eye to him doing things she knows he shouldn't, that's what it means.

I really should get around to beating AAI2. All I remember is Knightley was the killer of case 1 and was murdered in prison a week later.

She's less dumb and more blinded by love, basically. She's presented as wanting to believe he wouldn't do certain things, even if the logic is there to suggest he is, in fact, doing said things. "Love makes you do dumb things" is a good way to explain it. It's not out of outright stupidity or maliciousness, more just... Her ignoring the probable truth because she doesn't really want to accept it.

Huh, for some reason, I thought they both had one. I know they take the stand (well, sort of, in Aura's case), but I guess they don't give a formal testimony.
