For being a giant bigot against LGBTQ people. We usually get together and play d&d Tuesdays, but tonight he went off about the bud light thing and spiraled from there. Pulling the "they are teaching 3rd graders about BJs and anal sex" garbage. He would not stop. He has done this before especially when he had to take an HR test at his job about LGBTQ rights. Claiming it hurts his freedom being told he should use that persons preferred pronouns. After about 10 minutes of ranting I said you are a bigot and are bullying them stop it. He didm't so.i said gtfo go home.

It's sad to watch a friend of 27 years go down the right wing rabbit hole. He's getting it from someone who is feeding him right wing talking points. I feel bad throwing him out but I will not tolerate bigotry in my own house.

He responded when he got home in the group text saying he's done and never coming over again. Says its a dick move to throw him out for his difference of opinion and that he was raised in a traditional family. I will wait a few days to respond otherwise I will say something very nasty.

Good on you TC. I only have a few close circle of friends and try not to make politics be one of our main talking points.

They do try to bring up foxnews hate stuff sort of jokingly but also wouldnt be surprised if they believed in that stuff. Since im close to them, im not afraid to call them out on it in a jokingly sarcastic type of way.
Other people who aren't close friends i dont even bother calling them out on it because its hopeless and i dont have time or care to argue with people i dont talk to regularly.
