Round 2: 25 points
Set 1: Excuse me but what fresh hell was that music box Castlevania, I don't like Lords of Shadow. +2. -1 for guessing Megaman Legends because it started like Roll's theme for some reason. +2 for Metal Gear Solid, but I've never heard that remix? Did not guess theme.
Set 2: +2 F-Zero GP Legend yeah you ain't foolin' me there. Then +2 Robotnik's Bean Machine. Did not guess the third one, but they're all franchises with animated series. Oh cool, +6 for the three-pack.
Set 3: +2 for Undertale. +2 for Sonic Unleashed. -1 for guessing Persona 4 Golden, but definitely a +3 for guessing final phase of final bosses, but close enough, I suppose.
Set 4: +2 for Cuphead, +2 for The Witcher 3, +2 for Castlevania 3. Did not guess the three-pack but it's so obvious in retrospect.

Bonus Round 1: 4 points
+4 for Portal 2, guessed Bugsnax for 0, I suck at DBZ and didn't bother guessing, guessed Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for Ar Nosurge god damnit VGMC. Guessed BotW for Spiritfarer. Whatever, don't lose points here.

+6 for guessing Shredder (thanks, being an 80s baby), did not guess Wind Waker somehow, -1 for guessing Jenova Absolute, +6 for M. Bison, +6 for Rundas (I cry ever time), +6 for Cynthia (I also cry ever time, but for different reasons - kudos to making a hard Pokemon final boss), did not guess for Deltarune, +6 for Bowser (thanks, final boss fight from SMB3,) HI X VS ZERO HOW ARE YOU (+9), I don't know deepest Guitar Hero lore to guess a name so 0 points there.

Death Round: 22 points
+6 for Solid Snake, never played Chrono Cross so RIP there, +6 for Donkey Kong, -1 for guessing Tales of Symphonia and not FFT, +6 for Samus, -1 for guessing Hinawa for Ys, +6 for Ryu Hayabusa, somehow did not recognize F-Zero X. +6 for Leon Kennedy, no idea for Punch-Out but it cracked me up too.

Round 5: Game, track, both: 38 points
+10 - Mega Man X; Maverick Hunter X - Boomer Kuwanger. +2 - Persona 3 Portable, but I'm weak on my Persona knowledge. +10 for Ventus - Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, +10 for Bloody Tears from Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles. +6 for Why (too much Final Bar Line, whiffed the game).

Before and After: 14 points
Didn't have a clue for the first one. +14 Persona 5 Nights at Freddy's. 0 for me being a Falcommoner.

151 points, if my math is right, but a lot of that comes from not having to fight people with a buzzer.

All right, here's how I did this time:

Round 1 - 7 points: Got Super Mario Sunshine, Silent Hill 2, Yakuza 0, and half points for Theatrhythm FF.

Round 2 - 12 points: First batch - Got MGS and half points for Castlevania. Second batch - Got Puzzle League and half points for F-Zero. Third batch - Got Kirby Planet Robobot. Fourth batch: Got Cuphead and Castlevania 3.

Bonus Round 1 - No points.

Round 3 - 15 points: Got Shredder, Bowser, and half points for Sephiroth. (I knew which form the theme was from, but I was totally blanking on the form's name.)

Round 4 - 24 points: Got Snake, Serge, DK, and Ramza.

Round 5 - 7 points: Got Bloody Tears, but couldn't remember which Castlevania game it was from.

Bonus Round 2 - 14 points: Got Trails in the Skies of Arcadia.

Total - 79 points. Did about as well as usual, but point inflation makes it look a lot better.

Anyway, great show once again.

Yo Isquen that's seriously impressive. The buzzer does make a huge difference, there were plenty of times Duke got out buzzed where I figured he knew it.

Well done as well DanKirby. I'm glad someone got that final before and after, I was quite proud of that but knew it was pretty likely it would be missed.

Right? First wife, and only actual 'completion' of the game was with Maria, but Elli and Karen were my big crushes. First time I came to GameFAQs was looking up HM64 secrets, and first core crush memories with of Elli and Karen. Anyone before that? Nothing is registering for NES, GB, Genesis, or arcade, and minimal for SNES. You're on Board 8! We may not boardwide fad over games as hard as we used to with Phoenix Wright or Umineko, but Trails is one of those games that continues to get playthrough topics here =D

My problem is that my memory and recollection has been getting progressively worse. I heard Whereabouts of Light and thought for the entire time, "I know this, but where is it from?" If I had come up with it immediately -- and by all rights, I should have -- I would have pieced that one together.

Unless I tried to determine what game could start with "FC," anyway.

I should get into the Trails games but man they are DAUNTING to look at from a distance.

Daunting because of total hours spent, or some other reason?

This won't be a popular opinion, but TitS eventually grew thin on me, particularly with its combat, and the last straw for me was when I missed a sidequest because they lock after certain checkpoints and I literally went from being offered the quest to having it locked before I ever returned to town.

I played ToCS later and found the mechanics and fluidity refreshing by comparison. I'd like to know what happened in the stories of the earlier games, but it wasn't important enough for me to go back for them, especially when Sky takes place over 3 games. I didn't even play all of Cold Steel, either, pausing somewhere mid-second game and never finding the momentum to return.

Another great show! I didn't do very well though. I think I have more fun casually playing along as it goes rather than trying to keep score myself. I did get Spyro the Dragon Quest but couldn't for the life of me get the number. I always love the connect-the-theme round and the finale mashups, thanks for doing this!

No problem! I love doing these and yeah, before and after or connect the theme rounds are by far my favorites to make. I need to work on locking down the next set of guests.

Also sorry DQ fans but man the music in DQ games sucks.
