I keep trying to play it like OG, and I get fucked up because of it.

I don't think I've gone thu a single encounter without hitting the danger zone. Now Ashley is with me...

i played on normal and found it hard at the beginning. once you get the mechanics down, its easy. gonna do a hardcore run soon though.

I'm doing a Hardcore run now after doing Standard and even on NG+ I can see the enemies hit quite a bit harder, take longer to stun, and are more aggressive. I want to eventually complete S+ runs but I know that's gonna be rough

I had the same problem initially. Unlike in the original game, the damage of your head/knee shots affects how likely they are to make the enemy stagger. Game became much easier when I stopped hoarding money and just fully upgraded the firepower on every weapon I used.

game refunds like 95% of a weapon's cost when you sell it right? i've heard it pays to just yolo here and try shit out, selling it if you don't like it

Right now im running Red9, Bolt Rifle, Shotgun, and SMG.

Im hearing bad things about village shotgun and SMG, so im skipping on upgrading them, plus the shotgun does kinda suck. Nothing more than big damage instead of good damage and crowd control.

So far the hardest parts has been valley fight/looting, plagas dogs, and el gigante

by itself, it doesn't seem that bad, but the part that pisses me off is how they delayed it ever so slightly so it wouldn't be mentioned in reviews. because that is exactly why it wasn't there day 1.

The lighting on GameCube blew my teenage mind

Played on PS2 years later and was like "...it wasn't this muddy before"

I managed the cabin fight in my 1st attempt, but used up nearly all the healing I had. Was very fun

Also I got the riot gun, fired it once into a enemy, killing 2, and fell in love. Sold the old shotty immediately.

Mendez was neat, but that phase 2 was kinda obnoxious

Funny I 1st played it on the PS2 ...now there's the HD version on PSPlus now.

Played the Remake Demo, but my Laptop GPU card is lacking. Gotta get another Gaming Laptop soon!
