Current Events > no "New Topic" button on mobile?

The other day I noticed on mobile (Brave browser) that there was no user name dropdown at the top right which made it difficult to view "My Posts". I had to goto Boards.. then choose a board.. then the secondary name drop-down to the top left on a board.

Today also notice that on mobile there is NO NEW TOPIC button.

Are these bugs.. or are they killing the boards off?

Because it feels like the latter.

It could be brave browser.
Can you do the following please: let me know what phone you have (iphone/android) and then try on the native browser (Safari/Chrome), even in private mode
Let me know if you have any system wide adblockers and if so, please disable them before trying Brave again. Brave by defaul use adblockers to my knowledge so disable those too before trynig againd please

Oh interesting! Yes likely Brave.. perhaps there is some tracking Javascript in those modules now that Brave has decided is bad for me. I'm using iPhone usually.. but do have Chrome / Safari also installed.

Just check what settings are in brave, check in apple's settings too on the phone. You could have something like a system wide adblocker but I have adguard with it blocking everything but experimental and non-english adverts so I don't think it's an adblocker but test in safari and if it wors there then experiment more in brave with disabling settings

This sounds dumb, but maybe try a different theme?

It does but it should be able to be disabled

Ah, I see. Yeah disabling the ad blocker makes everything normal.

my GameFAQs activity is about 60% desktop and 40% mobile when I'm on the go! I had to switch back to desktop to post topicks.

It seems as though you cannot customize what is blocked with Opera

I suggest you look into a system wide adblocker. I suggest 'Adguard' for iPhone. From what I know, the paid version isn't a necessity if you're just using it as an adblocker on a browser
It is more complex but does the job

The other alternative is to simply wait or even contact the developers of opera to update the adblocker but I'd suggest using adguard instead

AdGuard developers are from Limassol, Cyprus .. I've never been there but that feels a world away and am thus hesitant to trust them.
