Although they'll still very likely pay out 10-20 thousand a year more than comparable "service" industry jobs while being able to avoid almost all forms of manual/physical labor. Plenty of office setups only have a couple folks making the "real" money. Money that will put you in upper middle class tier at minimum for the area in which you live. The rest of the office floor is generally making just barely ok money. Which only becomes decent when paired-up with a spouse's income stream. This can depend though. For whatever reason some companies just pay-up to employees and are very fair in terms of industry pay rates. It does happen.
