Should cops not only be allowed, but encouraged to assault anyone they are apprehending, regardless of the specific situation, because "you never know what will happen next"?

In this case, its criminal trespassing. I think its common knowledge that fans aren't allowed on the field and there is a ton of police and security to prevent it. Same scenario if there is a governor speaking and someone tries to walk on the stage, it's a known restricted area with "high value" people. They would get tackled too even if they just stood there and waved to the crowd. That's the primary difference imo.

For fucking what? Trespassers shouldn't have rights. Also, proposing like this is stupid and douchey, probably did it to get seen on the Internet too.

He would sue if he got paralyzed. And he might have looked dumb to some people but apparently his girlfriend liked it. I saw that she accepted and they are getting married

They haven't afaik because security does their job. People like this loser think they're better than everybody else and deserve exactly what he got.
