*MGS3 spoilers* the fight with The End is drawn out and tedious, and isn't fun at all.

the fight with The Fear is a better version of that.

Majora's Mask is straight up garbage.

Other M isn't anywhere near that bad, it's just mediocre.

The idea of worthy opponent is stupid

BotW is extremely overrated.

Characters that are dependent on critical hits (a.k.a. rogue class) are inferior to tanks/fixed DPS. Better to have the certainty of knowing how much damage youre going to cause rather than just hoping for the best.

Mass Effect 3: The extended ending was fine and satisfying enough. I feel like people who complain about lack of seeing the result of your choices throughout the trilogy have been skipping/sleeping through the story during the game itself.
Also, Paragon Control is utilitaristically the best possible ending, both at that moment and long-term.
Also also, the indoctrination fan theory is silly and even more ridiculous than the original ending.

Silent Hill: The Room is the best of the series.

Metal Gear Solid 4: The first two acts were easily the best part of the game and pretty much the sole reason why I replayed it at all. Although I was initially turned off by the active warzone atmosphere, I eventually grew to love how expansive the possibilities were of being able to move your way through and influence the battle, or just ignore all that and sneak your way past the battlefield entirely.
The final bossfight however was barely mediocre at best and mostly just memberberries. It wasnt even half as exciting as any of the final boss fights of MGS 1, 2 or 3.

Goron Rolling in Majora's Mask is an atrocious mechanic (and that includes the Goht fight)

Soulsborne games' multiplayer is mediocre and they suffer for it. They'd actually be masterpieces if they didn't divert resources into it. Which is why Sekiro is the best one.

just some minor changes could improve its standing, though (like, ghosts )

I couldn't get into any of the Uncharteds that I played through (1-3), but I'll try to give U4 & LL a chance before I write the series off.

The Godfather: Don's Edition is a better game than GTAV.

Definitely, didn't realise that's a hot take.

Not sure if this is popular or not but I'll add that Crash 3 is the worst (though they are all great) of the OG Crash trilogy.

I think Scott Adkins would make an awesome Solid Snake.

Resident Evil 6 was a good game, just a little misunderstood. I had way more fun on it on a replay. On the other hand, I didn't like Resident Evil 7 because it camouflages its "survival horror elements" behind jump scares and a first person view.

Most AAA games are trash and indie games are king because they don't hold your hand like you're a baby and center around actual gameplay rather then chores.

Dishonored is a major dissapointment trying to be some shitty Thief and Biochock mix that utterly failed.

A bad open world game is still better than most other types of game

Mass Effect 3 ending was fine, and the multiplayer was among the best I've ever played.

People need to stop singling out Lymle from Star Ocean as one of the worst characters ever. She isn't even the most annoying character in her game. Meracle, Sarah, and Edge during his hissyfit are far more cringe.

This is how I always feel too, but I think it usually turns out to be the same DPS.

Or like in the case of Hades, Artemis' crit boon is one of the best damage abilities in the entire game.

Mother 3 was a poor follow up to Earthbound

Final Fantasy 9 isn't even close to the best final fantasy game.

God of War (2018) kind of sucks. I assume the same of its sequel, since it looks like exactly the same game.

I disagree about it sucking, but you would be right in your assumption because it's almost exactly the same game.

The best Zelda game is still the first one.

even though Dark Souls 2 has its flaws, I feel one of the weakest criticisms towards it is the layout of its world.

it's a fantasy world where, for whatever reasons, the developers might have wanted to have a more abstract map.

I honestly have to agree with the multiplayer being mediocre. It's fun to have, but watching "tournaments" of it is just as fun as watching any anime arena fighter tournament... boring as fuck. Trying to make games like these "competitive" just doesn't work.

Plus, balancing it is unrealistic given the sheer amount of builds the games have.

Zelda is overrated. And I say this with two of my favorite games being Zelda games

But people would not put up with the flaws in Zelda games if it was anything else. BotW so much so.

Apart from the deliberately ugly aesthetic of the overworld, World of Ruin > World of Balance in Final Fantasy 6.
