In the situation you describe, it would seem, to me at least, like the story would still be whatever the cameraman is shooting, not the cameraman himself. Kinda like a movie version of the graphic novel the Marvels but with a video camera rather than a regular camera. Marvels follows several major fights that happened through out Marvel comics history but from the perspective of a journalist who's always there to witness the fights. It's a pretty good read.
