Do games that only have an autosave become speedrun only? Or do they get a way to manually save? If the latter it's a pretty easy deal.

Nope. Some games, rarely, don't have an autosave, and I get caught up in the game and forget to save, and die doing something dumb and lose a couple hours of progress. Then I'm usually not very inspired to replay what I just did so I drop the game for a couple days. I always do create manual saves, but only when I'm done with my session.

I hate autosaving anyway and always disable it if a game lets me, so sure?

The one exception I'm mostly okay with are autosaves that are kept separate from manual saves.
