Played KF 1-3 in January before taking a break. Was completely in love with 2 & 3 and excited to start IV, feeling it was a sure bet I'd love it, too. But...I don't? It's not bad or anything but it feels like it's a bit "lesser" in every area. I loved the lore going on in the first three games but IV got rid of that completely and I don't care about what's going on with this idol and earth kin or w/e at all. The music isn't as good. NPCs aren't as interesting. Areas aren't as nice to look at and explore. Some of the enemy types are obnoxious. I got to some icy area after getting the priest key and I'm struggling to keep going. --- Playing: King's Field IV ... Copied to Clipboard!

Finally discovered the repair/upgrade guy and heaved a sigh of relief as I gave him all my degrading crap. Found out I now have to sit here for 10 irl minutes waiting for the repairs. I don't how why From does this lol. --- Playing: King's Field IV ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've only played King's Field II and that was shortly after it released and I was... 7 or 8? I had no idea what the fuck I was doing and sold it at a yard sale in irritation.
