Yeah honestly its getting a little much, and way over exaggerated with all the grooming accusations. If both parties are 18+ then theres really no need for anyone to comment. People might not like it (and I think a lot of that may stem from jealousy) but theres really nothing morally wrong happening.

Honestly, Senior-Freshmen relationships are kinda weird and I remember that being the overall consensus back when I was in high school.

Like yeah, it's only 3-4 years but those 3-4 years are pretty fucking huge from a development and social aspect.

I've a better idea. Instead of forcing people to only date individuals born the same year, let's force people to only date others who have the same astrological sign. If you're a Cancer, you can only date a Cancer. If you're a Libra, you can only date a Libra. It's the only way to prevent predatory behavior from an older partner.

why do girls love tall/older men when they are this age? it reminds me of this girl that was super small in my school dating seniors too. I spent the night at her house one night, she was kind of a crush, but I didn't make any moves since I know she's been around the block and young dumb me was bothered by that

when I was a senior freshman girls seemed SO young to me I would've personally felt like a creep dating them ...there wasn't any attraction either way because they just seemed like babies lol

I don't understand american high school grade, but apparently it can mean 18 and 14 according to google. I think the maximum acceptable age difference between teens is 2 years, you grow in dog years in your teenage years

Im 5 years older than my wife, so our age gap is bigger. Mentally we were in the same place (she graduated early and was going to the same college). I dont feel age gap matters too much as long its not super extreme (10-20 years)

but arent there certain laws that allow this to happen if certain circumstances are met? e.g. they start dating at 17 and 14, but the elder doesn't immediately get thrown in prison for turning 18 and dating a 14 year old, right?

Cegep can be a technique where you start University or a pre university program, you can also go at trade school called DEP an adult school after 16. It's perfectly possible to be a software developer at 19. Trade schools make it that some people already started their career at 18
