Oh. I see the confusion. In my ff14 game I had two motion detectors and they both acted completely differently. One being a watch motion Detector and one a track. I've never seen them combined. Usually we seperate them. I know the real role is weak tracker so it's that variety of motion detection

ulti should save me tonight so scum probably just shoots ctes if he's actually town?

i mean they could always leave him alive for doubt purposes but if he's town then they risk leaving another situational kill prevention on the table

When I say CTES was in a good position, I meant primarily by my own read and also by others as evidenced by the rest of today. I was there live to read the part of the game when he first claimed. When I entered the game, I shared my thoughts and that I think he's town for that claim. I had skeptisism and thought it could be a scum gambit, but primarily thought Death getting targeted by scum day 1 was a stretch. And thought everyone else agreed.

The truth is that yes, apparently the game did give me that impression. It's not like I'm lying and really I've processed the whole game. There's no reason to actually do that, especially because I promise I WILL read and process everything as soon as I get home from work today :) have patience

Ctes, what was it about the leadup to your claim today that actually motivated you to claim, given that you hadn't yet?

It's a shame no one wanted to bet with Han, there were 5 bucks free to take lol.

I'm not a "never role-meta" guy. I'm a "don't get stuck on bad role meta" guy.

People love to say "so and so claimed tracker omg idk what to think this is the only thing to think about" and then get stuck on bad meta.

The reason I've been focused on the JC/Ulti situation is because the actions aren't sitting right.

And yes, yesterday I did vote based on play, go figure.

No particular event, but a combination of many small things. It's going scum information and removes the possible surprise element of the last action. So at what point does the distraction it gives town matter enough to remove that option.

Lea was building a case based partly on it, you and Dumey were arguing about it. Etc. Just came to seem better to make it clear in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah that's pretty accurate. I said that what I've skimmed and what I haven't is going to seem pretty random. By the time I went to the topic after day 1 ended I just wanted to see who died so skipped many pages to look at the results. Saw Chris died and flipped scum. Said "woah, Good job town". Scrolled back to skim for Chris posts to see if he did some crazy slip or how he got lynched. Didn't see any posts from him. Since then I've been assuming he got lynched for not being around at EOD. Excited to find out the real reason soon enough though

You made it pretty clear I should be on Ulti automatically. Where's the context in that? This is not in line with someone who says to lynch neither when someone claims to visit a psychic and the psychic claims no one visited them.

You seem to be attacking Ben here who is appears to be trying to see if this play makes sense as town or makes sense as scum (or at least appears like it), as you always tell people to do yourself. Not that him not having read everything carefully is a bad point in itself.

And Lea, I don't think I had a clear suspicion if anyone n2, but I felt great about Ulti getting shot and wanted to save him so I had to pick someone and picked a vanilla claim in my PoE.

The scan then hitting there was extremely frustrating.

His argument was that he tried to save Ulti by putting a claimed Vanilla in his place.

Yeah I chose the person in my basically even PoE that had claimed non-power. It made the most sense for my action of saving Ulti, I just did not consider if it made the most sense from JC's perspective, which I guess it did.

Claimed Doctor, Cop, Weak Tracker, and nobody claimed RB. The only explanation is that Scum could get around the Doc save with unblockable and used their CC on JC.

But if you're Town, you know they didn't use CC on JC. Which means Scum has no CC and Town has two pretty strong protection roles.

I don't think town not claiming it is out of the question. At least it's not difficult to see why they wouldn't to me. Maybe it explains Jc being the one who was shot at because of busdrive fear as said before. Although again, they should know how likely they are to shoot protection target then so those things might be unrelated. Can you not see this as a possible explanation? Keeping information hidden just won us the previous game after all!

The reason I dont think Sultan sits is because if everyone on power is telling the truth this game is cracked. I dont see why ctes claims as scum there, either. Like, he was in zero risk of getting lynched today. This is giving me Dota 2 vibes where Lopen and ctes were soooo obvious scum and both were town because the setup was weird.
