When he's narrating nature shit, yes. I just want the play by play of whatever animals are doing whatever stuff with his awesome voice. I don't want to hear the same preach we get from every other activist, he can go on the news for that.

so this is not an instance of David injecting "activism" into a nature documentary. it is precisely the focus of that episode.

Looks like the Guardian got the wrong end of the stick. The episode isn't part of Attenborough's series - it was an episode by another company that the BBC bought to air on iplayer at the same time. This 'missing' episode was never meant to be on TV at all.

Seems basically every sports presenter is refusing to show up over the BBC effectively firing Lineker with many football players reportedly refusing to answer BBC questions.
