Conservatives always seem to be wrong about what their advocates, spokespeople and representatives will do. When liberals and leftists make accurate statements or predictions about what their guys want to do and are doing, they claim the people pointing this out are hysterical. Then when it happens, they are either silent or cape for it and act like it was always justified. We see it with cutting social programs, we saw it with Roe v. Wade, now we're seeing it again.

For those of you who claim you don't actually want this, why support a party that does and why do you never adjust your worldview when you're consistently wrong about what people under your banner actually want to do?

It's almost like you're just trying to avoid the heat that comes from owning your abhorrent beliefs and what the people you empower will do...If that's not the case, then jump of off this ship or you will be considered just as much of a Nazi as this guy. That's all I can tell you at this point.

This is one of the most important things you can do. Organize with other people, and get trained in defending yourself. Last thing you want is to be on the receiving end of someone who got a bit too bold off this rhetoric.

Probably because since the trans community is so small, few IRL know or even care. And because few know or even care, statements like this dont get out to the public because even they know few know or even care.

Its like how someone as world-renowned as JK Rowlings statements arent known becausewait for itfew know or even care. Extremely few people looked at Hogwarts Legacy and thought Trans comments? Hell no/yeah, I wont buy/will buy this for that alone! No, they thought, Oh neat, a Harry Potter game.

its weird because he says all that based on the premise that transgenderism is false but its not false? I assume a small subset of people within the trans community are just mentally ill people who arent actually experiencing gender dysphoria but for the rest of them its a very real thing

They're trying to say that they are talking about the ideology of transgenderism and not transgender people. And like, even if you were to be incredibly charitable to them (and this guy does NOT deserve that charity), it's still a horrid statement.

Bullshit. Transgenderism isn't an ideology. Do not give them any benefit of any doubt. Conservatives are literally never speaking or acting in good faith. This is merely an attempt to try and mitigate the blowback from saying exactly what they want in front of a populace that hasn't been primed enough to hear it yet. This is the guy who siad that you can't commit a genocide against transpeople because they aren't a legitimate category of people. Which in and of itself is genocidal language.

Look dude, I'm not playing this game with you. Every single person who votes for the GOP is supporting this rhetoric by voting for them. Even if all you really care about is a tax cut, when you vote for the GOP you are saying that you view the desire for a tax cut as being of higher importance than transgender people being allowed to exist. So they at worst in favor of it and at best indifferent to it. Indifference in oppression always benefits the oppressor never the oppressed.

As I said in my edit above, the person speaking at CPAC here is the same guy who said a few days back that you can't commit a genocide against trans people because they aren't a legitimate category of being. Which in and of itself is genocidal language.

So if it is less than 1%, why do you mention it in your post? I think I'm not very clear on your point (as you said in post 86) - is it that his speech is vague?
