I still buy OE every now and then but it's mostly a nostalgic thing for me too.

The shitty thing though is that they've more than doubled in price since I started drinking them as a teenager.

When I first started going to parties in high school you could get a 40oz for like $4 and just one was enough to get me drunk.

Ended up leaving an entire pine tree sprawled out halfway into the street. My neighbors dad has his chainsaw and we weren't gonna just drag this monster cock sucker of a tree over to the side. Either way cars can go around it still and I got someone coming tomorrow morning to cut it up and haul it out. The wind is so bad here semi trucks were pulled over on the side of the interstate and some business had just caught on fire on my way back into town so a buncha fire trucks were going to that with traffic lights being out too.

Fuck of a day and i'm happily drinking now.

Trey how's baby and Pia doing? And the wife, and you.

Baby's good. Not a baby anymore tbf, he's 14 and a half months, walking, speaking a lot of Bosnian words and phrases that I'm pretty sure are shit talking about me. He's in daycare now 2 days a week, he's a fuckin champ. He's tall as fuck. Gonna be the next Jokic and be worth millions one day.

Wife's good, she's back at work 3 days a week. We're gonna be selling our place soon and moving to a bigger one.

Pia is good, she's getting a bit fat because she doesn't really run around or exercise much and she's always begging for extra food.

I'm good. Interesting year. Diagnosed with severe depression in August, I'm on 100mg of zoloft a day now, which has helped immensely. Back at the gym now too which has been great. Drinking less, but still drinking. No drugs in over a year which is good.

How are you? How's the kidney? How's your wife? How's Tennessee? Still on your land sitting on your porch, working at the liquor store?

We are good, working for the same guy but sitting overnight at one of his hotels a few nights a week now. He can never find an employee worth a shit around here so I go where he needs me. One of his regulars had a stroke last week so I'm jumping around a lot.

Still in TN, liver is okay, health seems good. Wife and pets are all good too, been an uneventful start to the year so far.

Since you've had a significant length of sobriety, have you noticed any improvements? Feeling better, sleeping better, etc? Sleep is suppose to improve after being sober for a while.

I was hoping the sleep would improve but it really hasn't, i've lost a lot of weight, i'm at like 142 right now, it's the least i've weighed since being an adult. I've dropped more than I wanted to. Besides that though, I don't feel like shit as often as I did, especially at work, and body isn't as achy. My short term memory is going a little bit but not sure if that is from the alcohol or age.

So they totaled out my truck, but on the bright side I have 15k. But now I have to go buy another truck lol.

Well I know you have other issues related to your sleep other than alcohol. I noticed mine improve slightly. I don't wake up as often in the night but I still wake up in the morning feeling like I'm not as rested as I should be considering the amount of sleep I had.

I have the same short term memory issues. I've always had them to an extent but not sure how much alcohol or age has worsened them. I've been taking some supplements my wife found for me which has improved brain fog.

I need to just see a doctor about the sleep issues, i'm probably gonna get one of those fit bit wrist things that tracks your sleep patterns so I can have a couple weeks record before I go in.

Not sure thinking about waiting a while to see if the price of used vehicles comes down a bit. But its really nice to have a truck when you own a house.

I have a Fitbit, and I cringe looking at my sleep patterns. Theyre all over the fucking place lol. I just started a new job yesterday so Im working 8-4, hoping a day shift job will get my sleep schedule where I can sleep more than three to four hours a night. Id be fine with six good hours of sleep.

I am going to attempt to not drink this week to let my body recharge. My boss is out of town and I don't currently have anything to do at work so stress levels should be low enough to make this work. Felt like shit yesterday from Sunday then slept a lot. Feel 100% today so let's see if I can keep it that way.

I think i'm in for this, comes out in a couple days. Almost Famous is one of my favorite movies, up and coming 60s/70s band stuff is always enjoyable.
