You need a designated work area. I have half of a room dedicated as a work office. If I'm not "on the clock" then I'm not sitting over here. It's the only way to help keep that separation.

I'm the same way honestly. My jobs are also salary so it doesn't matter when I poop. When I worked hourly jobs in college, I did like figuring out how much money I made sitting in the private bathrooms pooping.

I work from home. I get myself punched in first then take my time pulling up the rest of my systems and tools, stretching it as long as I can. Once I'm in I start poking around seeing what needs to be done, gathering some taskes, checking email and the chat rooms.

After turning off the alarm and punching in, I make coffee. Im a manager at Cabelas so I have to unlock the building and let about 15 people in to go to work. So I make 2 pots of coffee. From there, I basically go to my desk and check our incoming shipment and my crew goes to work. Then I just go through a bunch of bullshit for an hour. Then I go stock or unload a truck with a hilo.

Well normally I show up like right at daily standup time so that. If were not having one or its late then usually either check the git issues board or go straight to working in the project if I left in the middle of something.
