Leans way too hard on the whole edgelordy "humans are all total assholes when push comes to shove" trope, and because of that I don't particularly like any of its characters; not exactly a good thing for a story-driven game. Because of how hard it leans on this trope, the story is seemingly forced to play out in a way that, if you take one step back to look at it more objectively, feels incredibly stupid and contrived. It would be one thing if this were a more open-ended sort of game where having that happen could just be one potential result of player choices, but that isn't what this kind of game is; the story HAS to play out that way. <cite>Philip027 posted [p:971708289] in So, why do... Combined with Druckmanns general pretentiousness (the whole dont say zombie thing is a good recent example), and it just becomes obnoxious.
