Because I really don't see any other possibility for why jumping on a Star Spirit would not only keep that Star Spirit alive but also give me a burn in return.

The fact is that 3 scum unkillable by jumping makes absolutely zero sense considering sultans flip.

Assuming you are telling the truth and really are a backup then there shouldnt be a change in effect.

This role is total bull shit if 3 scum are immune to it. (Well 2 fully and 1 partially)

Not only would it be actually impossible to get to 4 successful jumps making that part of the action worthless, it would be actively lying to player that 4 successful jumps is possible.

I don't know why you would be burned after failing to jump on me. It could be an unrelated action by the last scum. It could be that burn is just the standard bad thing that can happen if you fail an action by trying to kill town.

But what I can tell you is two veteran players looked over this setup, and there is no way in a million years would I have ok'd a setup where the "Town Hero" has a role that lies to him and can't even kill half the scum team

But being hammered is different from being jumped on.

Sultan's role PM specifically mentions bonuses for jumping on 4 scum. The only way I can be scum is if that is literally impossible and the host is lying to the player about that being possible.

Dumey's didn't but red had a bunch of random stuff about on certain days he couldn't be jumped on and Sbell was bulletproof

In fact if anything Kirby's jump proves I am town because hosts don't like to players

Let me put it this way. Sorry for the chain of posts, I am stream of thoughting this

Put these in order of most to least likely in a mafia game

1. Scum poisoner being able to gain more than one action
2. Town vig failure resulting in them being able to be poisoned
3. 3/5 of the scum team is completely or partially bullet proof in a game where town has two vigs and the host lied to one of the players about the effectiveness of their kill

Like it isn't even close right?

1 and 2 the answer is Ulti (Probably, still a tiny chance of kirby here I think)

3 the answer is me.

That would be option 1 yes.

My guess is they wouldn't be sitting on it though.

But I have seen scum roles that power up if they are the last scum left before. That seems plausible. Or maybe burner is a third party and that is why they targeted cody D1? Probably not but it wouldn't be shocking.

Regardless there are a lot of possibilities here

The funniest option would probably be that I am a star so the negative effecting of trying to kill me is getting burned

If you have problems with the role, take it up with MZero and Lopen after the game.

But it is theoretically possible to get all four jumps. It would require insane foresight and knowledge of the setup that no reasonable townsperson would ever figure out, but it's certainly possible.

N1: Kill Red/Sbell/Dumey
N2: Kill Red/Sbell/Dumey
N3: Kill Sbell/Dumey (Red is immune and needs to be killed first or second)
N4: Kill Ben/Plum (due to Strongman modifier)
N5: Kill Ben/Plum (due to Strongman modifier)

This would also rely on Sultan living for that long. The odds of this happening are really freaking low, but it's theoretically possible.

Er, wait, the fourth jump doesn't get Strongman. But Plum would still die to hammer in that scenario anyway
