Look at all these movies he did in 2022. How is that possible. Were people who in charge of his estate just throwing him in front of any camera to get money off of him before he died ?

iirc, he was doing as many movies as he could because he has some degenerative cognitive thing going on, so he was trying to have something to leave to his family

Yea it wasn't his family forcing him. He chose to do that. He knew he was out of time. It was one last burst of work to leave something for his family

Skipping through his last few efforts, they have scored very poorly. Nothing he did in 2022 scored above 5 out of 10, with most in the high 3's and low 4's.

Also from what little I know of these films, they weren't exactly the most demanding in terms of acting.

Almost everything he's done in the last 3 years were low budget Direct-to-DVD/Streaming movies that spent nearly the entirety of the budgets that they had on him. A 5 would be a high rating for movies like that.

Like Corrective Measures which was a "Tubi Original Movie". I didn't even know that was a thing until right now. How much money could Tubi be possibly pouring into original productions? Especially after paying whatever Bruce wanted for his 2 days of filming?

I don't know what those detective knight films are but it's hilarious cause my stepdad is a detective knight.

I'd totally buy a "Bruce Willis 2022" DVD box set

I hope they have enough of his voice and mannerisms down so they can AI and CGI some more of his stuff. That's another way to make some cash for your last years which will be expensive, and to leave money for your family.

Do a goddamn Moonlighting reunion while Willis still vaguely can.

His family revealed that he has dementia and is basically incapable of communicating anymore. Whatever you think of the man and his movies, please show some respect.

He did these movies because he was getting paid a million a day on 3 day shoots, like 4 to 8 hour days. It was a smart move and it's not like Bruce Willis ever cared about the prestige of his filmography. Dude was a true journeyman action guy up until he retired. Pretty commendable if anything.

He retired March 2022 so almost all of those would have been filmed 2021 and earlier.

the vast majority of those movies were done in 2020-2021.

Its the straight to dvd kind of movies where they just need the big action star to poorly act for about a week and use doubles for everything else
